The Muslim Trade Forum UK (MTF) welcomed a senior delegation from RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company, a master developer wholly owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), to the Islamic Cultural Centre (ICC), London, for an exclusive briefing with leading figures from the British Muslim business community. The event brought together investors, professionals and institutional leaders to explore King Salman Gate, the company’s flagship development adjacent to Masjid Al-Haram.
The briefing forms part of MTF’s ongoing programme to strengthen trade, investment and strategic partnerships between British Muslim businesses and major opportunities across the Muslim world.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Dubayan, Director General ICC, welcomed attendees and underscoring the Centre’s role as a platform for dialogue, cooperation and strengthening the position of Muslim Community in the UK.
Sir Iqbal Sacranie OBE, Chairman MTF, set out MTF’s vision for creating substantive trade, investment and partnership opportunities for British Muslim businesses. He also spoke of MTF’s continued development into the British Muslim Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI), reflecting the organisation’s broader ambition to build a stronger institutional platform for Muslim enterprise in the United Kingdom.
Representatives of RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company presented the vision, scale and investment potential of King Salman Gate, the company’s inaugural project. The development is a major long-term scheme situated adjacent to Masjid Al-Haram, spanning approximately 12 million square feet and encompassing residential, hospitality, prayer, cultural and visitor-focused facilities.
The presentation outlined a range of international investment routes, including freehold and leasehold ownership, Shariah-compliant financing structures, and selected development components to be allocated through competitive processes.
The briefing drew representatives from across the legal, investment, finance, hospitality, property, media and charitable sectors, including MTF, the Islamic Cultural Centre, HIMA Investments & Consultancy Ltd, Harunani & Co Group, GSC Solicitors, Paramount Holdings UK Ltd, PiPA, Heriots Patisserie, MUSIAD, Islam Channel, HalalBooking.com, the Aziz Foundation and other leading organisations.
