The Muslim Trade Forum UK led a successful trade delegation to the 2nd Makkah Halal Forum in Saudi Arabia from 22–27 February 2025, aimed at strengthening UK ties with the global Halal economy.

The delegation held key meetings with the Islamic Development Bank, the British Consul General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, and Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, alongside representatives from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

MTF participated in panel discussions on sustainability and women’s empowerment in Halal trade. A major outcome was laying the foundation for the British Muslim Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) to connect UK Muslim businesses with global Halal markets.
