Mahmood Ahmed is a seasoned trade and business development professional with over a decade of experience in international trade, economic diplomacy, and policy advocacy. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening global trade partnerships, organizing high-level business delegations, and facilitating strategic investment opportunities across diverse sectors.

An expert in trade promotion and market expansion, Mahmood has successfully led and coordinated more than 50 international trade delegations, exhibitions, and business forums worldwide. His work has enabled enterprises to access new markets, expand their global footprint, and build sustainable cross-border partnerships. Through his extensive engagement with Chambers of Commerce, trade bodies, diplomatic missions, and industry leaders, he has established himself as a trusted facilitator of international economic collaboration.

Beyond trade facilitation, Mahmood brings substantial expertise in policy research and economic strategy. As Secretary of the Muslim Trade Forum (MTF), Mahmood Ahmed has been instrumental in the establishment and institutional development of the organisation. Even prior to its formal launch, he played a foundational role in conceptualising, structuring, and mobilising support for what has now become a unified platform for Muslim businesses across the United Kingdom.
